Most importantly, the Japanese made optics on this scope are exceptionally clear and crisp, with a mil-dot reticle for clear and quick target acquisition and adjustment for trajectory at different distances. The optics are such good quality that no compromise has been necessary on lense size - the 42mm objective lense means the scope maintains a low profile when fitted on the rifle.
The Rainguard protective coating is a permanent hydrophobic lens treatment that causes moisture from rain, snow, sleet and even your breath to bead up and scatter, so your vision stays bright and clear - and that will surely be important in our wet summers!

This laser rangefinding scope takes the guesswork out of measuring the distance to your target.
With the Yardage Pro Laser Rangefinding Scope, you just activate the unit by pressing the infrared remote and the laser rangefinder emits visible, eye safe, infrared energy pulses. Sophisiticated digital technology instantaneously calculates distances by measuring the time it takes for each pulse to travel from the rangefinder, to the target, and back.

Once fitted onto your rifle, this piece of kit can be used like a standard scope in all shooting situations - standard eye relief of 3.5inches, 4-12 magnification ring, mil-dot reticle on fully multi-coated optics -
Then when you switch on the power you get all the advantages of the laser rangefinder - simply aim the unit at your target, press the remote switch or the unit switch and hold briefly until the calculated range appears in the upper part of the reticle. The distance can be shown in yards or metres.
The remote switch included with the unit fits over the forestock of your rifle without the need to velcro or mark your rifle in any way. This allows you to operate the rangefinding facility whilst maintaining the stability of your position.
The auto switch-off will help save the battery life too.
Unit has a Weaver base and 2-piece mounts to fit onto a Weaver rail are included. Mounts to adapt to a 9-11mm dovetail rail are available as an optional extra.

All in all, we think this unit presents excellent value for money. The unit itself is no bigger or heavy than the average high end scope and feels natural to use once mounted onto a rifle. Very easy to operate too.
